The diamond and triangle set is one that many quilters have asked for. It can be used in many different quilt blocks to add variate and depth to your patchwork.
The Storm at Sea Template Set makes diamond and triangle units in sizes 4" x 8", 3" x 6" and 2" x 4". Combine them with the From Marti Michell Perfect Patchwork Template sets to make the following sized Storm at Sea blocks:
- Storm at Sea + Template Set B = 12" Blocks
- Storm at Sea + Template Set A = 9" Blocks
- Storm at Sea + Template Set B and D = 6" Blocks
The Storm at Sea Template Instruction Booklet includes how to cut the pieces and make the diamond-and-triangle units, along with guidelines for bed size quilts. Please note: the instructions do not include yardage for specific size quilts. Good general instructions on how to figure yardage are included in "More Bang for the Buck"; the same method is used for any quilt design.
