PATTERN WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE AS A PDF/DIGITAL DOWNLOAD DUE TO THE MIXED CONSTRUCTION METHODS.
Material Requirements are yet to be finalised, but the expectation is 7 yards for the blocks plus backing and binding.
Suitable for beginners and experienced patchworkers alike.
Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) is supported with tutorials to help those that are yet to try this method of construction.
Quilt pictured (Layout 1) finishes at 90" x 90".
PLEASE NOTE: There is no version of this pattern that is 100% machine pieced. Some blocks will require foundation paper piecing to help reduce piecing errors and increase assembly accuracy.
In 2025 100 Days 100 Blocks will embrace a new challenge: mixed construction techniques.
We'll be using machine piecing and Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP).
Machine piecing will use a standard ruler, rotary cutter and sewing machine. Cutting and assembly instructions will be provided in the pattern.
Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) will use copy paper (of FPP paper), fabric, scissors and a sewing machine. Templates will be provided in the pattern, along with beginner instructions for how to FPP.
The block sizes in this pattern range from 6" to 24" which makes them perfect for mixed construction techniques as it helps reduce bias stretch, inaccuracies and seam reduction. It also means that you'll be able to fussy cut your favourite motifs easier.
This means that the pattern will only be available as a PDF/Digital Download.
Pattern will be available by 30 April 2025.
